Mexico has asked the United States to provide evidence after Washington said shots were fired from the Mexican side of the border at US security personnel. The dispute centres on an alleged incident near Texas, opposite the Mexican state of Tamaulipas, in late September. Pakistan has summoned India's charge d'affaires after saying two Pakistani civilians were killed and another person wounded by Indian Border Security Force personnel in the Bedian sector along the international border.
